We Will Remember Them

Today marks 100 years since the landing at Gallipoli.
Our Monday night sewing group was asked by the council to make a commemorative blanket for the ANZAC service.
We were given about 200 knitted poppies and an Army blanket.
We were honored to be asked and proud of our result.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Baby Louie's Whale Quilt

Thanks to the Quilt Block Boot Camp I was introduced to Oh Fransson with the cat block.
I checked her out and love her quilts.
This whale quilt is perfect for my cousins little grandson Louie.
