Happy Birthday

Last Saturday our middle child turned 18.
For her birthday she requested a Moroccan themed tapas dinner party with 12 guests, including family and friends.
The first thing that came into my mind was 'bunting'.
I've always wanted an excuse to make bunting.

QBBC Week 5

Great pinwheel technique where you put 2 squares right sides together and sew around the outside, cut corners to corners then sew your half triangle squares together.
Simple and fun.

Another One Finished

Myself and 2 friends made this quilt top a few years ago.
It's from the material obession books - the Melbourne ladies.
So much fun to make,  a real puzzle.  You really need a design wall for this one.
I machine quilted down the wedges then hand quilted with pearl thread, big stiches around each ring.

As far as I know the others 2 are still unquilted And I'm not offering to do them.
