ANZAC Circles Update

The top is finished.
For so long I put off finishing this quilt and like most things you put off doing you end up really enjoying and wonder why you waited so long.
A beautiful sunny day spent working on a beautiful sunny quilt.
I made a few more blocks and pieced it together, thrilled with the result.
Now how to quilt it???????

Monday Night Madness #15

Only 3 of us tonight.
Mad me cutting out monsters.

Mad S working on her yoyos.

Mad L working on her apron.

For fun we had an ugly fat quarter swap.
Lucky me got the blue cat fabric.
Because there were only 3 of us,  we are doing it again next week.

ANZAC Circles

A few years ago I joined my first quilting bee.
A mix of Kiwis and Aussies hence the ANZAC.
We could choose anything.
I was inspired by a Christmas card I was given by a dear friend.
So fabric was chosen,  card cut for inspiration, parcels sent with very simple instructions - circles - any desgin, any size block.
Stupid me, it's worse than a jigsaw puzzle to put together.
My advise - make a rule that all the blocks must be the same size or divisions of.
Nevertheless,  I have had a fun day in the shed today working on the lay out, just a few more blocks to make up.

Sunday Funday #2

Today I had the pleasure of my 2 girls in shed.
Miss C did some beading.

And made this bracelet.

Miss E got inspiration from tumblr.

And with a little help she made this purse.

After a bit of tidying I put a back together.

For this quilt.

In the meantime Mr G started work on the shack.
A new temporary home for our son.

The girls are looking far too comfortable in the shed.
It's my hsppy place, so as long as they are happy they are welcome.

A bit late however here is the maddness that was a foot last Monday.

Mad L treated us to a new recipe courtesy of Jo Seager.
Very yum.

Mad A pulled one from the WIP  pile and it's amazing.

Great to see mad V and her own hand died wool.

Mad me was knitting a big sloppy jumper for myself or my daughter.
